Creed

4 September: Liturgy + Set List

  • JESUS!

    Call to Worship: Psalm 93

The good news for you and me this morning is that Jesus is alive, and He rules and reigns. There is nothing outside of His care, let’s sing in response to our God who rules and reigns:

  • I STAND AMAZED (HOW MARVELOUS)

Let’s confess what we believe about our faith through the words of the Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

  • SON OF SUFFERING

Sermon: Colossians 1:17-23

There is no square inch of all creation over which Christ does not say ‘mine.’ And that is including you and me. So let’s use these next songs to put language around the joyful surrender of our lives to the One who is preeminent in all things. Would you stand if you’re able, let’s sing…

  • IS HE WORTHY?

  • CHRIST BE MAGNIFIED

    Benediction

14 August: Liturgy + Set List

  • A THOUSAND HALLELUJAHS

    Call to Worship: Psalm 40:1-4

If you are here this morning as a follower of Christ, the words of the Psalmist are the words to your life - God has plucked you from the pit of destruction and placed your feet on the firm foundation that is Jesus Christ. And this truth should not just shape your mind, but transform the entirety of who you are from the inside out. It is a truth that requires a response - Let’s hear how the Psalmist responds in verse five: “You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us, none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.” Let’s proclaim the works of the Lord together.
